Bathroom Towel Hooks, Wall-Mounted, Iron, Round Knobs, 3 or 4 Hooks, 16 x 12 to 19.5 x 12 cm, Four Colors | Sansoti

Hang towels on hooks instead of over a radiator

A towel draped over the radiator only dries when the heating is on, and a towel rack takes up half a wall. These bathroom towel hooks are a compact iron rail measuring 16 x 12 cm with three knobs or 19.5 x 12 cm with four, which you screw in next to the shower or by the sink. Since each towel hangs from its own knob instead of being folded over a bar, air can circulate and it actually dries. The coated round knobs have no sharp points, so they won't pull loops out of the terry cloth.

Why knobs are better than a bar

• Round coated knobs: no sharp point to pull loops out of terry cloth or damage a bathrobe.
• A separate knob for each towel: towels hang apart from one another and dry faster than when folded over a bar.
• 16 x 12 or 19.5 x 12 cm: fits on a narrow strip of wall next to the shower or between the tiles and mirror.
• Sturdy iron: holds a wet towel or bathrobe without coming loose.
• 3 or 4 knobs: three for a guest bathroom, four if the whole household shares the bathroom.
• Four colors: black and white go with standard bathroom fixtures, while dark green and red add an accent.

Where to install them in a bathroom

Screw the hooks within arm's reach of the shower but outside the direct splash zone, at a height of about one and a half meters — high enough that a large towel won't touch the floor. In a small bathroom, two small rails on different walls are more practical than one spot, as this keeps wet towels from hanging against each other. The version with three knobs measures 16 x 12 cm, while the one with four knobs measures 19.5 x 12 cm; both are attached to the wall with screws. On a tiled wall, drill into the grout where possible, and use plugs suitable for both the tile and the underlying wall. The same hooks can also be used in a toilet for a hand towel, or in a child's room for backpacks and coats.
